Danny Fuller

Have you ever wanted to tell your teacher that, “high school is a joke” and then go become a pro surfer? That’s exactly what Danny Fuller did and it turned out to be a pretty good move

After so politely telling his grade 10 teacher what he thought about school, Danny Fuller moved from the island of Kauai to the North Shore of Oahu, Hawaii – one of the best surfing spots in the world. Danny home-schooled himself in Oahu and surfed every day. His dedication to riding big waves paid off, and in 2001 he made it to the semi-finals of the Pipeline Masters in the Vans Triple Crown of Surfing.

Danny Fuller’s good looks, laid-back charm and ability to ride the biggest of the big waves have made him a rising star on the world surf tour. He’s been in several surfing videos, surfing magazines and people were able to see all of Danny’s big rides and big wipeouts on TV. Danny Fuller was one of seven world class surfers who appeared in the a WB reality series, Boarding House: North Shore. The cameras followed the seven surfers as they live and surfed together in Oahu.

  • Danny’s dad is a lifeguard on Oahu’s north shore.
  • Danny has his name tattooed across his stomach (in case he has a nasty surfing accident and forgets who he is.)
  • His favorite food is steak.
  • He broke his right leg surfing when he was 11 and busted his left leg when he was 16.
  • Danny enjoys Jiu Jitsu at the RVCA training center.
